Picket outside the Brazilian Embassy: Monday 29th August 2016

Numsa and other concerned comrades are deeply concerned about the impeachment process against Dilma Rousseff, by the right-wing in Brazil.  She is the first female President, re-elected in the 2014 general elections with 51.64% of the votes. 
She defeated a centre-right coalition of parties by a narrow margin and earned a mandate to carry on the legacy of the centre-left Workers Party which has been governing Brazil since 2003.
But now she has been suspended from office and is to stand trial, accused of manipulating the government budget.  President Dilma argues that her impeachment is nothing but an attempted coup by the opposition.
Numsa and other comrades will be protesting against the right wing of Brazil taking power that they did not win through votes and picketting in solidarity with the millions of Brazilians and the international working class to defeat this process.
