Numsa National Office Bearers (NOB’s) to hold a Press Conference – Sunday 02 March 2014 – Numsa Head Offices – Newtown
Members of the media are invited to a Press Conference to be addressed by NUMSA’s National Office Bearers, namely General Secretary IRVIN JIM; President ANDREW CHIRWA; 1st Deputy President CHRISTINE OLIVIER; 2nd Deputy President BASIL CELE; National Treasurer MPHUMZI MAQUNGO and Deputy General Secretary KARL CLOETE.
The Press Conference will be on the following issues;
• ANC’s Elections Manifesto viz a viz the ANC’s 2014 vision;
• Our response to the State of the Nation Address (SoNA) that was delivered by President Jacob Zuma;
• Our response to the 2014 Budget Speech delivered by Minister of Finance Pravin Gordham;
• The Cosatu – processes and legal case to be heard on 27-28 March 2014;
• Progress on the United Front and the Movement for Socialism; AND
• Engineering and Eskom negotiations in 2014 – The Numsa National Bargaining Conference (NBC);
