Motor shop stewards from sector 6 – companies like Barloworld, Unitrans and McCarthy – met to finalise the demands that they will put to their employers this year.

Shop stewards were adamant that this year workers want an increase on their actual rates of pay. They will reject personal guaranteed increases.
