The National Office Bearers (NOBs’) of Food and Allied Workers Union (FAWU); South African Catering Commercial and Allied Workers Union (SACCAWU); South African Football Players Union (SAFPU); Communications Workers Union (CWU); Public and Allied Workers Union of South Africa (PAWUSA); Democratic Nursing Union of South Africa (Denosa); South African State and Allied Workers Union (SASAWU); and National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa), will hold a Media Briefing this coming Sunday 10 May 2015, at 12h00 midday, Vincent Mabuyakhulu Conference Centre, 155 Lilian Ngoyi (formerly Bree) Street, Newtown, Johannesburg, Gauteng province.
The Media Briefing is to share with workers and general public at large the details of the court action against Cosatu, to be heard on Monday 11 May 2015, in relation to the refusal by Cosatu President to convene a Special National Congress, as has been demanded by a third of the Affiliates as per the provision of the constitution.
The Media Briefing will be addressed by the National Office Bearers (NOBs’) of the above-mentioned Affiliates.
