NUMSA JOBS CONFERENCE

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) will be holding a Jobs Conference as from Wednesday 26 October 2011 –until- Thursday 27 October 2011, Randburg Towers, 275 Cnr Main Avenue and Republic Road, Randburg, Johannesburg, Gauteng province.
This Jobs Conference is taking place at the backdrop of serious jobs bloodbath, deepening income inequalities, and ongoing failures of neo-liberalism embedded economic policies to drive industrialization and create decent jobs for our people.
The Jobs Conference will be held under the strategic theme ‘Exploitation Divides, Decent Jobs Unites – Smash Capitalism’. The Conference will be attended by 250 worker delegates drawn from all the sectors of our economy the union organises.
The Conference will be opened officially by NUMSA President Cde CEDRIC GINA, and will receive inputs from SEIFSA’s GUY HARRIS, NAACAM’s ROGER PITOT, Trye Employers Association Dr ETIENNE HUMAN, DTI’s THANDI PELE, Transnet’s BRIAN MOLEFE.
