Ayanda Mabombo could not bury the haunting desire of his childhood aspiration of recording an album.
After some years of absence from the music industry, Ditaru ( his stage name), came knocking in our ears with a single album entitled “S’thandwa sami”.
He left the comfort of his office, where he works as a computer expert, to polish his fresh voice that sang gospel in his hometown of Kwa-Nobuhle.
Without a doubt the song “S’thandwa sami” will command your attention, with its transcendental beauty embellished with piano and strings.
This is an isi-Xhosa love song, where a lover confesses his or her undying love to someone. In the second track, “Don’t go”, Ditaru sings with a pleading smooth voice that will flow beneath your skin leaving you shivering.
The four following tracks are dance house remixes an instrumental of “S’thandwa Sami’ and “Don’t go”.
This album will surely surprise those who do not know Ditaru.
When listening to him, a smile is guaranteed. What a marvelous attempt. Buy this album to support this artist so he can bring us more.
