NUMSA to hold political education workshop in the Western Cape region

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) will be holding its political education workshop in the Western Cape region. The purpose of political education is to educate new NUMSA shopstewards on the values of the union, in order to empower them to enable them to defend workers. The union has hosted workshops in various regions including Mpumalanga, JC Bez, Northern Cape, Ekurhuleni and Sedibeng. The NUMSA General Secretary Irvin Jim will be the keynote speaker at the induction.
