The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa will be embarking on a #PlasticsShutdown beginning on Monday the 15th of October. More than 10 thousand NUMSA members will be on strike to demand a living wage and improved working conditions in the Plastics sector. The strike will affect over 450 Plastics companies nationally. Any company or industry that uses plastic products or by products will be affected by this strike.
NUMSA is inviting media to attend a press conference to deal with the details of this strike.
