The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) is holding its first National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the year from the 9-11 March, 2018. The meeting will be held at the VMCC venue in Newtown, Johannesburg.
The NEC will be reflecting on many issues including the fake euphoria under the new administration of President Cyril Ramaphosa and its impact on the working class; as well as the new labour bills and the threat they pose to the working class in general as well as other local and international socio-political issues, which are affecting the union and the working class in South Africa in general.
