NUMSA supports SAPU and the 10111 workers

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) supports the South African Police Union and the strike of the 10111 call center workers. SAPU members have been on strike at the call center since the 4th of August, 2017 to demand equal pay for equal work. NUMSA condemns SAPS management for refusing to pay these employees what they are worth. They are violating the principle of equal pay for work of equal value and are exploiting workers. 10111 workers will be picketing at various locations today, including Midrand in Gauteng; the Free State; Eastern Cape; Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Western Cape.
An injury to one is an injury to all!
