Comrade Zwelinzima Vavi to Address Workers in Central Johannesburg on the Anti-Corruption March | Saturday 19 September 2015

ZWELINZIMA VAVI, (former) COSATU General Secretary will be addressing workers tomorrow Saturday 19 September 2015, at 11h00am, Letsema House, 30 Eloff (Cnr Albert) Street, Central Business District (CBD), Johannesburg, Gauteng province.
The meeting is being convened to mobilise workers, irrespective of their union’s logos or t-shirt colours to join en masse the anti-corruption march to take place on September 30, 2015, as organised by the Unite Against Corruption (UAC) coalition. The anti-corruption march is being supported by more than 250 organisations; and during this week it received a huge endorsement or backing by South Africa’s labour movement, particularly Fedusa; Nactu; Numsa and other independent trade unions.
Cde Vavi’s address will focus mainly on the poisonous political climax in the country; the state of the progressive trade union movement; and the serious need for organised workers to swamp the streets of Pretoria and Cape Town, to be part of the anti-corruption march on 30 September 2015.
