Cde ZWELINZIMA VAVI and IRVIN JIM will address a Shopsteward Council in Cape Town, tomorrow Thursday 09 April 2015.

The Shopsteward Council is convened by the following trade unions, namely Food and Allied Workers Union (Fawu); SA Catering Commercial and Allied Workers Union (Saccawu); Public and Allied Workers Union of SA (Pawusa); South African State and Allied Workers Union (Sasawu); Communication Workers Union (CWU); SA Football Players Union (Safpu); National Union of Metalworkers of SA (Numsa); Democratic Nursing Union (Denosa); and SA Municipal Workers Union (Samwu).
This is the first in a series of meetings by the COSATU General Secretary and leadership of the above-mentioned unions to directly communicate our collective message to reclaim COSATU, as a militant, worker-controlled and independent federation of workers.
