United Front structures to be established in Sedibeng and KwaZulu-Natal

This coming weekend (Saturday 15 – Sunday 16 Nov 2014), trade unions, community organisations, youth groups, faith-based organisations, women’s and environmental movements will launch United Front steering committees in Sedibeng and KwaZulu-Natal.
This is in line with the call that the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) made at its Special National Congress in December 2013 to launch a united front that will join worker and community struggles.
The establishment of provincial and regional united front structures is in preparation for a national launch that is planned for December 2014.
