Cosatu’s affiliated Unions to hold a Press Conference on Cosatu’s ongoing paralysis and predetermined decision to expel Numsa from Cosatu
The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) affiliated unions, namely National Union of Metalworkers of SA (NUMSA), Food and Allied Workers Union (FAWU), , South African Catering Commercial and Allied Workers Union (SACCAWU), Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (DENOSA), South African State and Allied Workers Union (SASAWU), Communication Workers Union (CWU), South African Football Players Union (SAFPU) and Public and Allied Workers Union of South Africa (PAWUSA), shall hold a Press Conference tomorrow Wednesday 05 November  2014, at 11h00am, Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre, Boksburg, Gauteng province.
The Press Conference will be addressed by the above-mentioned unions National Office Bearers (NOBs) on matters related to the ongoing paralysis in COSATU; predetermined decision to expel Numsa from COSATU as an affiliate; and factionalised grand plan to remove COSATU’s General Secretary Zwelinzima Vavi from his elected position by workers.
