Cosatu’s major affiliated unions in Free State/Northern Cape provinces will hold a Shopsteward Council, TOMORROW Sunday 16 November 2014, starting at 09h00am, Mangaung City Hall (Opposite KFC), Nelson Mandela Drive, Bloemfontein, Free State province.
The Shopsteward Council will be addressed by the National Office Bearers (NOBs’) of the eight affiliates. The Council will receive a composite and detailed report on – (1) illegal expulsion of Numsa from Cosatu; (2) detailed programme to be accelerated to force Cosatu’s President S’dumo Dlamini to convene a Special National Congress (SNC); (3) plans to defend Cosatu General Secretary Zwelinzima Vavi; (4) and public attacks directed to Numsa and its leadership by the SACP.
