Numsa to hold a press conference on the planned action against Nissan

NUMSA TO HOLD A PRESS CONFERENCE ON THE PLANNED ACTION AGAINST JAPANESE CAR MANUFACTURER NISSAN

IRVIN JIM, Numsa General Secretary, will address members of the media tomorrow Sunday 02 June 2013, at 12h00, Western Cape province. He will be joined by BOB KING, United Auto Workers of America (UAW) General Secretary, PAUL HOWES, Australian Workers Union (AWU) National Secretary, DANNY GLOVER, activist and actor, DERECK JOHNSON, NAACP Director, and BETTIE JONES Nissan worker from Mississippi.

The purpose of the Press Conference will be to publicly announce solidarity action to be undertaken in support of the Nissan Mississippi workers; and planned public demonstration at the Japanese Embassy on Tuesday 04 June 2013.
