Numsa Deputy General Secretary To Lead Medupi Workers March in Lephlale, Limpopo: 19 October 2012

KARL CLOETE, NUMSA Deputy General Secretary will be leading a march of 10 000 Medupi workers tomorrow Friday 19 October 2012, Lephalale town, Limpopo province, to hand-over a Memorandum of Demands from workers to ESKOM and Department of Labour (DoL).

This march is a continuation of the many battles waged by NUMSA on the many challenges confronting workers employed at Medupi. The workers will converge at Mangol Sport area and march militantly to the ESKOM Information Centre, Lephalale to hand-over a Memorandum of Demands to ESKOM and Department of Labour (DoL).

The march will also be addressed by SACP Provincial Secretary GILBERT KGANYAGO, COSATU Provincial Secretary DAN SEABI and ANC’s Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) member EPHRAHIM SKHANGA.

The Memorandum of Demands will be received by representatives from both ESKOM and Department of Labour.
