The leadership of the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA), South African Municipal Workers Union (SAMWU) and South African National Civic Organisations (SANCO) will be holding a Press Conference this coming Sunday 19 August 2012, Bimba Magqabashana House, 22 Pickering Street, Newton Park, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape province.
The purpose of the Press Conference is to respond to the ongoing political crisis faced by the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality (NMBM) and absence of political leadership of the ANC to intervene on these challenges.
The Press Conference will be addressed by the leadership of the three (3) organisations, namely NUMSA Regional Chairperson VUSUMZI PETSHWA, NUMSA Regional Secretary PHUMZILE NODONGWE, SAMWU Regional Chairperson XOLANI TOM, SAMWU Regional Secretary ARMSTRONG POSWA, SANCO Chairperson SCREWY MTHWA and SANCO Chairperson MIKE TOFILE.
