Numsa will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year in Tembisa, Gauteng, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town and Durban.
Numsa’s 25 years represents a milestone achievement for all revolutionary movements in the continent and the working class in general.
The celebrations remind us of the road we have travelled and the gains we have accumulated in the different sectors of Numsa.
These include the establishment of Numsa, developing a bargaining strategy, achieving a minimum wage, international solidarity and the fact that we have grown to be a formidable force in Cosatu.
Members from regions will perform through singing, dancing and acting some key moments in Numsa’s history and highlight its gains over the years.
There will also be other performers.
All the activities will build up to the national congress.
