The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) will hold its 25TH Anniversary Exhibition on Saturday 02 June 2012, KwaMuhle Museum, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province.

The Exhibition will be addressed by former NUMSA Cadres including those currently occupying strategic positions within the liberation movement and the state, namely ANC KwaZulu-Natal Deputy Provincial Chairperson comrade (s) WILLIES MCHUNU, KwaZulu-Natal MEC of Economic Development & Tourism MIKE MABUYAKHULU, former NUMSA KwaZulu-Natal Regional Secretary MAGRAPES HLATSHWAYO, JUNE-ROSE NALA and renowned working class author KALLY FORREST. The Exhibition starts at 13H00.

A. 25TH ANNIVERSARY RALLY:

On Sunday, 3rd June 2012, the 25TH Anniversary National Rally will be held at Curries Fountain Stadium, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province.

The 25th Anniversary Rally will be addressed by ANC President JACOB ZUMA, COSATU General Secretary ZWELINZIMA VAVI and NUMSA General Secretary IRVIN JIM.

The Rally will start at 10H00am.

B. 9TH NATIONAL CONGRESS:

The 9th National Congress will commence on Monday 4 June 2012 –until- Friday 8 June 2012, iNkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (ICC), Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province.

Members of the media who wish to attend the Exhibition or Rally or National Congress are advised to apply for accreditation online since the media accreditation form is now available on our website (www.numsa.org.za).

Accreditation closes on Friday 1 June 2012. Only bona fides journalists will receive media accreditation.

All accredited bona fide journalists will have to collect their accreditation at the following address on Saturday 2 June 2012; iNkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (ICC), Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province.
