Numsa’s 1st Deputy President CHRISTINE OLIVIER and United Front’s National Working Committee (NWC) member RONNIE KASRILS will be part of a mass picket outside the Gauteng Legislature, tomorrow Tuesday 03 March 2015 in Central Johannesburg.
The United Front Gauteng members – will converge at 10.00am at Westgate Bus and Taxi Rank, Ntemi Piliso Street, and walk peacefully to Gauteng Legislature, where a mass picket will be held and a memorandum of demands will be handed-over to the delegated Gauteng government officials.
The picket is part of a series of campaigns of the United Front as mandated by the historic and ground breaking People’s Assembly held last December 2014. The key theme of the picket is a fight against government’s austerity measures and a demand for a People’s Budget that meets the needs of the working class and the poor.
