Numsa to hold a Media briefing to announce NEC outcomes and details of the Engineering/Metals strike

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) will be holding a Media Briefing this coming Sunday June 29, 2014, starting at 12h00 midday, Numsa Head Office, 153 Bree (Cnr Gerard Sekoto) Street, Newtown, Johannesburg, Gauteng province.
The purpose of the Media Briefing will be to publicly communicate the decisions and outcomes of the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, including the details of the Engineering/Metals sector strike. The NEC started on Wednesday June 25, 2014-ends-Friday June 27, 2014.
The Media Briefing will be addressed by the National Office Bearers (NOBs’), namely General Secretary IRVIN JIM; President ANDREW CHIRWA; 1st Deputy President CHRISTINE OLIVIER; 2nd Deputy President BASIL CELE; National Treasurer MPHUMZI MAQUNGO and Deputy General Secretary KARL CLOETE.
