The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) will be holding a
National Conference of its Youth Forum as from Friday 12 October –until- Sunday
14 October 2012, Lake Side Hotel, Benoni, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng province.
The Youth Forum National Conference will be attended by one hundred and thirty (130) voting delegates drawn from lower structures of NUMSA Youth Forum across all the NUMSA 9 Regions and the Conference will be held under the strategic theme “25 Years of Militant Struggle for National Liberation, Decent Jobs and for Socialism”.
This National Conference will be taking place amidst the deepening global crisis of Capitalism and its failures to resolve the deep-seated and systematic crisis of poverty, unemployment and inequalities as faced by the working class and poor youth, including the super-exploitation of young workers in capitalist owned factories and industries.
The ANCYL Deputy RONALD LAMOLA, YCL National Secretary BUTI MANAMELA and SASCO President NGOAKO SELAMOLELA shall deliver their respective organisation’s Message’s of Support tomorrow Friday 12 October 2012, as from 10h30am.
ANDREW CHIRWA, NUMSA’s 1st Deputy President will deliver the NUMSA’s National Office Bearers (NOB’s) Key-Note Address tomorrow Friday 12 October 2012, at 12h00.
