Sector 6 – new minimum rates of payEmployers in Sector 6 (car dealers) have again refused to grant increases on actual rates of pay. Here are the new minimum rates effective from September 1 2005 until August 31 2006.

Increases on actual rates of payIf you work in Division C, Chapter III (manufacturing factories) and you are earning above the minimum rates for 2004/5, your increase from September 1 2005 to August 31 2006 will be 5%.
Guaranteed wage increasesIf you work in Sectors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 and you are earning above the minimum rates of pay for 2004/2005, then these are your guaranteed increases from September 1 2005 until August 31 2006. There is no guaranteed increase for sector 6 (car dealers).
