Letters: Fashion demoralises our tradition

It is our norm to honour and respect the dead person. Our civilised generation seems to be ignoring this. After had had a funeral of our staff member, cde Dan, Numsa Springs local organiser on August 9 this year, our Numsa representatives from Head Office and Ekurhuleni were wearing in such a way that morals is something to be done away with because we have transcended to a civilised world.

I would be impressed if they should have respected the late cde Dan by wearing clothes that retain our dignity as Africans. We had ladies from Numsa head office and Ekurhuleni region who were wearing trousers and others from the community answering their cellphones during the preceding which shows disrespect.Yours in the struggleCde Sechaba KhomGermiston local.
